"What does God require of you, but to do justice, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?"
- Micah 6:8

As a member of the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches, we subscribe to the beliefs of our denomination set forth in Article III of its bylaws. (Read the UFMCC Statement of Faith)

Micah 6:8 is carved into the cornerstone of our sanctuary because we believe Jesus Christ is the liberating Word of God revealed in Scripture that calls us to work for justice, to be compassionate, while not holding ourselves above others. In Christ we are delivered from all that would keep us from the full, abundant life Jesus promised those who follow him, saving us from sin, death, fear, alienation, loneliness, inequality, and injustice.

We believe God created and enjoys diversity and calls the Church to reflect that by being inclusive of all those who follow Jesus and attempt to live by his teachings, regardless of gender, color, sexual orientation, ability, or any human condition. The Spirit leads us to overcome boundaries, barriers, and categories that would separate us one from another. Our language in worship is inclusive in hopes that what we manifest in words might be manifest in how we relate to people who may be different from us or may feel less than welcome in our culture. Jesus welcomed all—so we welcome all to our open Communion table in Christ's name.

And we welcome YOU!
